    Manchester City announces Haaland extension through 2034

    Manchester City has announced that striker Erling Haaland has signed a new contract extending his stay at the club until the summer of 2034. The 24-year-old Norwegian, who joined City from Borussia Dortmund in 2022, has scored 111 goals in 126 appearances for the club. Haaland’s previous contract was set to expire in 2027. The new nine-and-a-half-year deal is among the longest in Premier League history, surpassing the nine-year contract signed by Cole Palmer with Chelsea last August.

    The contract reportedly does not include any release clauses, ensuring Haaland’s commitment to Manchester City for the duration of the agreement.
